About Us

Restarting with Resiliency

Our History

Our journey began a few years back with a group of young, compassionate, and visionary individuals who recognized the urgent need to take action against human trafficking in Nepal. Driven by a shared commitment to justice and human dignity, we initially began working informally—offering support and assistance directly to those affected.

As our efforts grew, so did the need for structure. We transitioned into an official organization to collaborate more effectively with government agencies, access necessary resources, and reduce operational barriers.

In our early days, we focused on education—providing free schooling and scholarships to survivors of trafficking and those at high risk. This foundational work not only helped restore hope and opportunity to those affected but also laid the groundwork for the broader, multi-faceted mission we carry forward today.

Our project is completely focused on striving to address the current issues of human trafficking that happen in Nepal through education, awareness and vocational training for the vulnerable community.

Message From The Founder

As the Founder and CEO of Naya Paila, it is both an honor and a responsibility to share the heart of our work. With over a decade of experience working alongside national and international organizations, I have witnessed firsthand the deep pain and injustice caused by human trafficking in Nepal—particularly the growing crisis of internal trafficking within the entertainment sector. These experiences led to the establishment of Naya Paila, officially registered after years of grassroots engagement and learning.

Today, Naya Paila works closely with the Anti-Human Trafficking Bureau and key partners to rescue and protect minor girls from exploitation. Beyond rescue, we are committed to holistic rehabilitation and reintegration through shelter, counseling, legal support, education, and community-based prevention initiatives. Legal advocacy remains central to our mission as we support survivors in seeking justice with dignity and care. Guided by a dedicated team and strong partnerships, we remain steadfast in our vision of a Nepal where every girl is safe, valued, and free from exploitation.
